  • What makeup brands do you use in your kit?
I use a wide range of products from many different brands. Only high quality and high performing products are in my kit to ensure your makeup is flawless on camera. All products are tested for optimal performance prior to making it into my collection.
  • Do you do trials?
I most definitely do! I highly recommend you book a trial first especially if you are a bride. I feel makeup is so personal and must be tailored to each client's specific style and facial features.
  • When and where do trials take place? And how long will it take?
Trials take place at my studio. It is easily accessible to all forms of transportation. I prefer to schedule a trial 2-6 months in advance, but I've had brides do a trial a year prior, it is personal preference. Trials take between 90 minutes and 2 hours.
  • Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I require a deposit and a signed contract to hold your date. This is due on the date of your trail and is put towards your total invoice. If you do not have a trial scheduled, the deposit and contract is due 30 days before the service date or it will be cancelled.
  • How far do you travel?
As far as you need me! My travel fee is based on location and distance.
  • Do you do hair as well?
For such an important event I prefer to put all my focus into my makeup artistry. I have worked alongside many talented stylists in the industry and would be more than happy to recommend some to you if need be!
  • Does makeup or hair go first?
I've done it both ways and it has worked great either way. I recommend you have your makeup done first if you are going to have bangs or a piece of hair that is going to be sprayed into place. I recommend makeup be done last if you require your hair washed for styling.
  • How long does each application take?
For special occasions such as proms, weddings, etc. I aim for 1 hour and 15 minutes per client. False lash application requires an additional 15 minutes. If it is for a photoshoot or fashion show, the application time has ranged between 20 and 40 minutes per model.
  • Will my makeup last all night? What if I cry?
Yes, you can cry and still look gorgeous! A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. All the products in between the prepping and sealing are chosen for their longevity and high performance in all tear, sweat, and weather conditions.
  • How much do you charge?
It depends on several factors. These factors include: Event type (ex: wedding, makeup lesson, photoshoot, etc.) Additional makeup services required (ex: false lashes) Makeup look (ex: dramatic, simple, etc.) Group size (ex: wedding party) Travel preference (ex: studio, venue, etc.)
  • When is the final balance due?
The final balance is due on the day of your event and must be paid in cash. If you would like to pay with a cheque or e transfer, payment must be received 72 hours prior to the event date.
  • Are you able to come to my house?
My wedding makeup service is completely mobile, however for the trial or other special occasions it is held at my venue. If your wedding is outside the London, ON region, a travel surcharge may apply.
  • Do I need to do anything before my makeup?
I ask that you come with a clean face. Please gently exfoliate and moisturize, any waxing should be done 2-3 days prior for both the trial and your special occasion.
  • When should I book my trial?
I would recommend at least two weeks before the wedding. This avoids any last minute stress.
  • If I bring my own makeup products can you charge me at a discounted rate?
Unfortunately no. Makeup artists are paid for their expertise, not for the products they use. Additionally, if you have any allergies please bring along your preferred makeup and I shall gladly apply it.
  • Is a bridal trial optional?
It sure is. However, I would highly suggest to book one. A bride looking and feeling beautiful and confident on her wedding day is the key to great pictures and lasting memories.
  • What should I bring for my trial?
    • Bring a picture or thread sample of your wedding outfit, dress or gown so I can appropriately choose colours. • Give as much detail as you can about your wedding. • Talk to me about your skin and hair before hand so that I know what products will work best on you. • Bring a trustworthy friend with you to give their honest opinions. • Know ahead of time what you like and don’t like. • Bring pictures of what you would like your makeup to look like. The key is no surprises on your wedding day. You want to leave the trial feeling prepared and confident.
  • What if we are unable to start wedding day makeup services on time due to tardiness of the bride?
    • If I am unable to start wedding day services due to tardiness of the bride or any member of the bridal party, additional fees will apply after 30 minute wait. For each 30 minutes $30 fee will be assessed. • Late start throw off my timeline and delay me in getting to my next wedding party.
