Catherine's passion for makeup started when she was a little girl discovering her mothers makeup collection. In high school, she was always the friend getting ready last because she was doing everyone else's makeup first. The same applied in University. Makeup has always been her favourite way to express individuality and applying it can be a form of therapy as well.
Catherine freelanced for many years before considering attending makeup school. After graduating University, she packed her things and flew to Alberta on a whim! This chapter is where Catherine became an independent woman. She worked an endless amount of jobs, including her first real opportunity in the makeup industry, Sephora. The makeup mecca! She became a skincare consultant at one of the largest Sephora's in Canada located in Edmonton, Alberta. Previously having been a successful Arbonne Consultant back in Ontario, she was prepared to merge the knowledge gained in skincare with the knowledge she had in makeup in this new position. With her expertise in these two fields she was able to educate and empower all kinds of customers. A couple years passed and she decided to move back to London, ON. Shortly after, she enrolled herself in the Elegance School of Cosmetology and graduated with a certificate in Makeup Artistry. She'll admit, earning her makeup artistry certificate served more gratifying than her University degree.

Shortly after graduating Elegance, Catherine started working at Shoppers Drug Mart as a Cosmetician where she hosted makeup classes and demonstrations for customers featuring reputable brands like Vichy, Dermablend, Visanti, and Lise Watier. With Shoppers Drug Mart having such a great selection of both affordable and luxury beauty brands, she became interested in discovering dupes for high end products and being able to broaden her product recommendation list to customers. After working in the retail and beauty industry for several years, she decided to part ways and start working as the salon coordinator and primary makeup artist at Nova Vita Salon located in downtown London. Working alongside dozens of professional stylists, entrepreneurs and collaborating with local businesses on a daily basis, Catherine learned so much about how to run a successful business, customer relations, marketing and salon efficiency. That chapter in her life was full of women empowerment and the freedom to do what she loved most, makeup!

Fast forward a couple years, Catherine is a new mom! It is safe to say becoming a mother has been the biggest adventure of her life. Motherhood is no walk in the park. Similar to her career path, although challenging at times, it is well worth it in the end.

Catherine is currently in the process of creating the studio of her dreams and cannot wait to share it with you! In the meantime, she provides mobile makeup services and also operates out of her intimate in-home studio as well. Catherine takes great pride in ensuring that all her clients leave their appointments feeling satisfied and empowered with her services. Whether it is a wedding, prom, fashion show, headshot, photoshoot, music video, film set, etc. Catherine can assure you she is well equipped and well prepared to make it happen. Editorial projects are highly favourable because it allows Catherine the freedom to go avante garde and try new techniques/looks. However, she can't help but fall in love with a brides final glance at herself before becoming a Mrs. too!
